After Sikandar, Salman Khan Announces Andaz Apna Apna Re-Release In Theatres With New Trailer
Salman Khan announced the re-release of the cult comedy film Andaz Apna Apna, co-starring Aamir Khan, on April 25, 2025.
A week after Sikandar’s release, Salman Khan announced the re-release of his cult Bollywood comedy film, Andaz Apna Apna. Co-starring Aamir Khan, the 1994 film is a fan favourite for its comic timing, performances and cast. On Monday, April 7, the superstar announced the release date of his film.
Salman dropped a trailer, comprising all the iconic moments of Andaz Apna Apna. “Amar Prem Ka Andaaz is back," he wrote as if shouting from the rooftops. He then announced the film’s re-release date – April 25, 2025. Take a look:

Fans expressed their excitement and replied to Salman’s post. “Meri Favourite movie both Khanz my favorite Kamal ki acting dono ki," wrote one user. “Dosti, Deewangi aur Dhamaakedaar Comedy… Ek baar phir se, Andaz Apna Apna," shared another user.
Previously, the film’s Instagram handle shared a poster of the film and announced the re-release. “Andaz Apna Apna Re-releasing in cinemas on 25th April 2025! Experience the cult classic on the big screen! Restored & Remastered in 4K & Dolby 5.1 Trailer out soon!", read the caption. As the announcement was made, fans were elated. One of the fans wrote, “Wohhhhooooo!!! Let’s go!" Another commented, “Suno Suno Duniya Ke Logo, Sabse Bada hai Mr. Gogo."
Recently, children of late producers Vinay Sinha, Namrata, Priti Sinha and Amod Sinha, had announced the re-release date of Andaz Apna Apna. They also expressed excitement on Aamir Khan and Salman Khan’s thoughts about the possibility of starring in the film’s sequel together. They told The Times of India, “Recently, Aamir bhai mentioned that Salman sir and he are keen on doing the Andaz Apna Apna sequel. We are thrilled that they both are excited and in light of this, we will start talks with them right after the re-release of Andaz Apna Apna on April 25."
They further added, “Talks with Rajkumar Santoshi ji have been ongoing for years. It also includes (those) during our father producer Vinay Kumar Sinha’s lifetime. However, nothing concrete has been finalised with him till now. We will make an official announcement under as soon as discussions with the actors and director are complete and a strong script is locked."
Andaz Apna Apna is a cult-favourite Hindi comedy featuring Aamir Khan and Salman Khan in lead roles, alongside Raveena Tandon and Karisma Kapoor. Celebrated for its offbeat humour and memorable one-liners, the film also introduced the legendary comic villain Crime Master Gogo, portrayed by Shakti Kapoor.
