Babil Khan made his return to the screen with the latest cyber thriller, Logout, which delves into the unsettling realities of the digital world and its impact on people’s lives. Despite portraying a character deeply immersed in the digital age, Babil revealed that his parents were determined to shield him from the overwhelming influence of technology. As a result, he used a basic keypad phone until the age of 22 and was only introduced to social media and smartphones much later in life.

In an interview with Filmibeat, Babil Khan shared that his upbringing was quite different from most people’s. His parents were determined to shield him from the digital world, believing that he should grow up without being overwhelmed by technology. Babil spent his childhood near a forest before moving to Madh Island, where he attended an alternative school that didn’t allow plastic and used wooden materials for everything. Babil Khan also shared insights into his character in Amit Golani’s film, explaining that he actively chooses roles that he feels are a departure from his real-life personality. The son of the late Irrfan Khan revealed that he enjoys portraying characters he doesn’t think he’s naturally suited for. He believes that every person has multiple facets, and by playing roles that are different from his own nature, he can explore the diverse shades of human experience. Babil’s approach to acting is driven by his desire to challenge himself and bring depth to the characters he portrays on screen.

Logout stars Babil Khan, Gandharv Dewan, and Rasika Dugal in pivotal roles. Directed by Amit Golani, the film tells the gripping story of Pratyush Dua (played by Babil Khan), a popular social media influencer whose life takes a dark turn when he unexpectedly loses his phone. As Pratyush’s
