Brooke Candy Calls Out Erika Jayne Over Lack Of Credit On Anora’s Track Drip
Brooke Candy claimed that while Erika Jayne admitted that she was only a featured artist on the song Drip, the actress did not rectify her past mistake by giving a shoutout to Brooke on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills reunion.

Underground artist Brooke Candy has slammed The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills actress Erika Jayne for taking credit for her song Drip. The song, which was a part of Brooke’s 2019 debut album Sexorcism, featured in the Oscar-winning film Anora. According to reports, Brooke had asked Erika, also a singer, to do the vocals on the chorus of Drip. In return, Brooke promised to lend the song for an indie film, aka Anora.
When Anora became a hot topic of discussion during the awards season, Erika Jayne was invited by production company Neon to host a screening of the film, reported Page Six. Brooke Candy, however, did not know about the event, which was held at the AMC in Los Angeles.

Brooke Candy, in a conversation with the media portal, revealed that she was surprised to discover later that Erika Jayne attended the screening without informing or inviting her. The singer alleged that Erika told her social media fanbase that the screening was being conducted to celebrate “my song Drip".
Last year in October, Erika Jayne shared Anora’s poster on Instagram with the song Drip playing in the background. When Brooke Candy confronted Erika about excluding her name from the post, the actress-singer edited her caption, acknowledging Brooke’s contribution. The song name, however, still auto-displayed as “Drip by Brooke Candy (feat. Erika Jayne)."
The side note reads, “WOW!!! OUR SONG IS IN THE BEST MOVIE AT CANNES. Love you, Jesse Saint John and Brooke Candy. Drip."
The situation worsened when Brooke Candy and Erika Jayne assembled for The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills reunion. Although Brooke claimed that Erika had admitted she was only a featured artist on Drip, the actress did not rectify her past mistake by giving a shoutout to Brooke on the public platform.
Brooke Candy said, “I’d like to be a voice for all independent artists everywhere because we are so often overlooked, we’re so often stolen from, we’re so often unable to make a living for ourselves. We have to take second, third jobs as artists to pay our bills. And, sadly, we have to fight for what’s ours."
Brooke Candy is credited to songs like Happy Days, Volcano, Block, Das Me and Everybody Does.
