Ekta Kapoor Confirms Naagin 7, Shares Big Update On Eid: 'Coming Soon, Very Soon'
Interestingly, this comes at a time when Isha Malviya is rumoured to be the next Naagin.
Ekta Kapoor has finally confirmed that Naagin 7 is coming soon. On Monday, i.e. on the occasion of Eid, Ekta took to her Instagram stories and shared a video in which she was seen planning something with her team. “It’s Eid. Happy Eid. Eid Mubarak. I have to give an Eidi to everyone," Ekta said and then turned to her team, asking for an update on Naagin 7. “They want to know where is Naagin 7," she said.
After one of Ekta’s team member confirmed that Naagin 7 is “on the way", the show’s producer also shared, “Coming soon. Very soon."

Interestingly, this comes at a time when Isha Malviya is rumoured to be the next Naagin. In February this year, News18 Showsha exclusively learnt that Isha is likely to be the new Naagin in Ektaa Kapoor’s supernatural thriller show. An insider close to the production told us that Isha, known for her performances in Udaariyaan and Bigg Boss 17, is reportedly in talks with the makers and may soon be finalized for the part.
The first season of Naagin premiered in 2015 with actors Mouni Roy, Adaa Khan and Arjun Bijlani in the lead. The show became an instant hit and was widely loved by the audience. The second season was also led by Mouni. However, Arjun was replaced by Karanvir Bohra. In 2018, Naagin returned with season three, which starred Surbhi Jyoti, Pearl V Puri, Anita Hassanandani and Rajat Tokas.
Both the name of the show and the cast was changed for the fourth season in 2020. Titled Naagin: Bhagya Ka Zehreela Khel, the fourth season starred Nia Sharma and Vijayendra Kumeria. However, unlike the previous seasons, Naagin 4 failed to recreate the magic and dropped on the TRP charts. The fifth season of Naagin aired from August 2020 to February 2021 and featured Surbhi Chandna, Sharad Malhotra and Mohit Sehgal.
