Janhvi Kapoor Reacts To Ed Sheeran, Shilpa Rao's Chuttamalle Crossover

A video of Ed Sheeran and Shilpa Rao singing Chuttamalle at a concert in Bengaluru has taken social media by storm. Netizens are mighty impressed with the unexpected collaboration and are praising the British musician for attempting to sing Telugu lyrics. The song is from Jr NTR and Janhvi Kapoor starrer Devara: Part 1, which released in September last year. Ed Sheeran’s video went viral on Instagram, and now, the lead actors have also reacted to it!
Sharing the video on her Instagram Stories, Janhvi wrote, “What a crossover to wake up to," along with a red heart emoji.

Jr NTR also posted a similar clip on his Instagram Stories with the caption, “Music has no boundaries and you proved it again Ed! Hearing you sing Chuttamalle in Telugu is truly special.
Ed Sheeran has shared the Chuttamalle performance video on Instagram. In the video, the British musician was seen introducing Shilpa Rao on stage. “Please make some noise for Shilpa Rao!" he said amid loud cheers from the crowd. The duo then sang Chuttamalle together, with Ed perfectly crooning the Telugu lyrics. The caption read, “Obsessed with @shilparao’s voice for the last while, a real privilege to share the stage tonight, and learn a new language!"
Earlier, Ed Sheeran’s team shared a behind-the-scenes video of the singer learning the Telugu lyrics, with Shilpa helping as his dialect coach. The side note read, “Ed’s first Telugu song with @shilparao."
Ed Sheeran is currently on the India leg of his Mathematics (+-=÷x) Tour, which began on January 30 in Pune. At his Chennai show, the singer-songwriter brought out music maestro A R Rahman as his surprise guest for the show. The duo sang a mash-up of Shape Of You x Urvasi Urvasi for the audience.
Ed Sheeran will conclude his India tour on February 15 in Delhi-NCR.
