The second instalment of Netflix’s Khakee series is here. Titled Khakee: The Bengal Chapter, the new season of the show delves into the gritty world of crime, politics, and law enforcement in early 2000s Bengal. Starring an ensemble cast from both Bengali and Hindi cinema, the series is the talk of the town and for all the right reasons.
Khakee: The Bengal Chapter stars stalwarts from the Bengali film industry such as Prosenjit Chatterjee, Jeet, Parambrata Chatterjee and Saswata Chatterjee. The series also stars Bandish Bandits fame Ritwik Bhowmik in a never-seen-before avatar, followed by an ensemble cast. Ever since its release, X (formerly Twitter) users have been showering heaploads of praise on the series.

Set in the early 2000s, Khakee: The Bengal Chapter delves into a city dominated by gangsters and politicians, where law enforcement struggles to maintain order. Amidst the turmoil, IPS Arjun Maitra rises as an unyielding force, determined to bring justice to a world where loyalties shift, and allies can become enemies in the blink of an eye.
The series is directed by Neeraj Pandey, Debatma Mandal and Tushar Kanti Ray. It has been streaming on Netflix since March 20.
