Sulli's Brother Calls Out Unwarranted Attacks On Kim Soo Hyun Over Past Allegations
Sulli's brother shared a cryptic post, sparking speculation among fans that it was directed at actor Kim Soo Hyun.
The controversy surrounding South Korean actor Kim Soo Hyun‘s past relationship with the late Kim Sae Ron continues to spark heated discussions among fans. With fresh allegations and conflicting statements from both sides, the situation has only grown more complex, leading to intense scrutiny of the Queen of Tears actor’s past. Recently, the debate expanded to include another late actress, his Real co-star Sulli, following a cryptic social media post by her brother.
Taking to the popular online community, TheQoo, Sulli’s elder brother, Choi Dae Hee, appeared to have made a mention of Kim Soo Hyun and wrote, “Mr. Kim, I have a lot to say, but I can’t. You’re going to fall from your high position, so you better hold on tight." While the post did not elaborate on the individual, many believed that it could be an indirect attack towards Soo Hyun, with some even admitting to having thought of Sulli after the Kim Soo Hyun-Kim Sae Ron controversy surfaced.

With the post sparking a lot of speculations online, Sulli’s brother shared another post, directly addressing the matter and even mentioning the It’s Okay To Not Be Okay actor. “How is it that the so-called ‘fans’ are the ones being the least helpful? I didn’t even mention Soo Hyun’s name, and yet people came swarming in instantly. Must be driving you crazy too, not being able to fact-check anything, right?" a part of his new post.
Adding that he has been convincing himself for several years now, Choi Dae Hee said he doesn’t want to add up troubles for the actor. “There will be plenty of others giving him a hard time. And even if I speak up, it wouldn’t become fact anyway—and it wouldn’t help any of you, either. So maybe just don’t poke the bear and move along," he continued as per Koreaboo. He also criticised fans for constantly dragging his late sister into unnecessary discussions, calling it “disgusting."
For those unaware, Kim Soo Hyun and Sulli worked together in the 2018 film Real, where the duo’s onscreen intimate scenes stirred a lot of controversy. With fans expressing disappointment over the nudity in the film, the controversy had a harsh impact on both Sulli’s image and the film’s reputation.
