Varun Dhawan and Samantha Ruth Prabhu also talked about their perception of each other during the initial days when they started working on the show.

Varun Dhawan and Samantha Ruth Prabhu were among the attendees at News18 Showsha Reel Awards, turning heads with their dazzling appearances at the grand event. During their presence at the ceremony, the duo also took time out to chat where they admitted to feeling cheerful to celebrate the success of their Honey Bunny at the awards night. Jokingly, Samantha said that they had also “cleaned up" to be at the night full of glitz and glamour.
Later, Varun and Samantha also talked about their perception of each other during the initial days when they started working on the show and how it changed over the course of time. Replying, the actress said, “I am waiting to shoot again." On the other hand, Varun responded, “Before we worked together, Samantha always came across as a warm person. I just kind of felt that I knew her before I knew her. Maybe, we both are at the age where we have evolved. We have been through our trials and turbulences in life so we have a lot of respect for each other. I am inspired by her and she is so easy to work with."

When asked about the genre they would like to explore next after action, both were quick enough to respond, “Comedy." As the conversation proceeded, Varun also revealed that Samantha has a crazy sense of humour and it “comes out when you are at a table of five."

Set against the vibrant tapestry of the ’90s, the Indian series has been written by Raj and DK and Sita R Menon. Apart from Varun and Samantha, the show also stars Kay Kay Menon, Simran, Soham Majumdar, Shivankit Singh Parihar, Kashvi Majmundar, Saquib Saleem, and Sikandar Kher in pivotal roles.
