The highly anticipated bout between the legendary Mike Tyson and social media influencer Jake Paul was held at the AT&T Stadium in Texas in an action-packed evening with multiple other fights booked in the lead-up to the main event.
The match-up was held with a number of alterations to the traditional rules citing the age gap between the fighters as the great Tyson jumped back in the ring for the first time after 2005.
The bout was an eight-round affair at two minutes each with both fighters sporting heavier gloves than they’d usually do. The anticipation for the fight was given a boost as Tyson slapped Paul at the weigh-in ahead of the fight after the 27-year-old provoked the veteran boxer.

The fight was originally supposed to take place a good six months ago but had to be pushed following Tyson’s struggle with a stomach ulcer. Multiple states in the United States of America did not give the go-ahead for the bout citing the vast age gap between the contestants before Texas stepped up to host the major event.
