Israel is said to be preparing for a possible Iranian miscalculation to launch a missile attack on the Jewish nation, Channel 14 reported. The report, citing an unnamed Israeli official, came shortly after a new US THAAD aerial defence battery was supplied to Israel. An extremely heavy American military cargo plane landed at Israel's Nevatim airbase in the south of the country on April 5, the report added. "The additional battery that landed here is part of our basket of operations with Americans," the Israeli official told Channel 14. The Israel official, as per the Israeli TV outlet, described the Israel-US defence cooperation “as the best ever.”Last year, Iran hit Israel with missile salvos in April and October which were mostly repelled thanks to the US military and their allies. Israel, in turn, launched a direct attack on Iran on Oct. 26, which is said to have damaged Iran’s Russian-supplied air defence systems. Tehran has since vowed to launch a third attack against Israel, dubbed Operation True Promise 3. n18oc_world n18oc_crux0:00 INTRODUCTION2:20 ‘GULF STATES IN FIRING LINE…’ KHAMENEI PUTS FORCES ON HIGH ALERT3:58 IRAN RESPONDS TO TRUMP’S LETTER 6:58 ABRAHAM ACCORDS PARTNER GROWS CLOSER TO IRAN
