AI Artist Imagines MS Dhoni And Virat Kohli As Sadhus Of Maha Kumbh: The Results Are Stunning
The Bharat Army dropped the AI-generated images on Instagram and the post was an instant hit.

Fans were in awe when MS Dhoni appeared as a Santa Claus last Christmas. But what if the legendary Indian captain donned the look of a sadhu? Nothing seems impossible in this era of artificial intelligence.
With the Maha Kumbh Mela underway in Prayagraj, an AI artist has imagined some famous Indian cricketers including Dhoni as sadhus. Virat Kohli, Shreyas Iyer, Rohit Sharma, Jasprit Bumrah and even Hardik Pandya are part of the list.

The AI-generated images were shared by the Bharat Army on Instagram. “When MahaKumbh meets Cricket," read the caption of the post, which deservingly went viral in no time.
Dhoni was reimagined in his long-hair look, but it had a spiritual touch. Wearing saffron robes and a garland, he was sitting peacefully against the backdrop of the holy Ganges.
Rohit, on the other hand, had rudraksha around his neck, while Kohli was surrounded by many devotees. Suryakumar Yadav, Rishabh Pant, Yashasvi Jaiswal and Shreyas Iyer were also portrayed in a divine look and the results were no doubt fascinating.
After the post surfaced on the internet, many fans gushed over the “power of AI". One of them felt “Kohli was looking older" in the AI-generated image. “I laughed so hard looking at the picture," added another. A person humorously remarked, “AI is dangerous."
One user found KL Rahul’s appearance quite similar to “IIT Baba" who has become an internet sensation since the beginning of Maha Kumbh.
According to a fan, Bumrah was the “most handsome" among all these cricketers. Another quipped, “Shreyas Iyer is looking like Sanatani Jesus." The post has garnered more than one lakh likes on Instagram.
The Maha Kumbh will continue until February 26 in Praygraj. Millions of devotees have already marked their presence at the auspicious event. Former Indian batter Suresh Raina also attended the mela recently and took a holy dip at Sangam.
Meanwhile, the Indian cricket team, under the leadership of Rohit, is gearing up to feature in the Champion Trophy. They will play their first match against Asian rivals Bangladesh on February 20. India won the ICC competition two times in 2002 and 2013.
