Forget Dogs, This Couple Chose Their Pet Insect As The Wedding Ring Bearer
A viral video shared by a bride-to-be on Instagram shows her boyfriend insisting that his pet insect should carry the wedding rings.

Weddings are known for unforgettable moments, but one couple took the idea of a unique ceremony to a whole new level. In a now-viral Instagram video, a bride-to-be revealed her boyfriend’s unusual request: he wanted his pet insect to be their wedding’s official ring bearer.
Initially thinking he was joking, the woman soon realized he was completely serious. The video captures the tiny creature delicately holding the wedding ring with its tentacles as it moves across the groom’s hand. With a mix of surprise and amusement, the bride declares the insect their “official ring bearer," leaving viewers both amazed and entertained.

In the clip, she says, “My boyfriend wants his insect to be the ring bearer at our wedding. I thought he was joking — he’s not though. She’s coming to deliver the ring." Her caption adds a playful twist: “Okay, I am not afraid of her anymore."
The couple’s unconventional choice quickly won over the internet, proving that love — and creativity — truly know no limits.
Reacting to the post, a user wrote, “I have seen Disney princesses before. First time watching a live-action Disney Prince."
Another shared, “Get her a little pillow to sit on and have someone walk her down the aisle."
“I have pet snails, I could do this but I’d have to set them off down the aisle right after the engagement if I want them to deliver on time," a comment read.
An individual shared, “Wedding officiant here – unless animals are very comfortable outside of home, they can get really stressed and pick up on the excitement of the day. Maybe a 3D printed version of your baby could be cool and then nobody is on pet welfare duty. Or get a little model of it and add to his boutonniere."
Another mentioned, “This is a great idea. Now I just have to find a wife who’ll understand why this is so important. This is the most iconic wedding idea. Everyone wants a unique wedding, but who else has had an otherworldly insect/faerie friend in disguise carry their rings? That’s straight out of a storybook."
One more added, “Please be so careful if you do, I would hate for her to get squished or worse because of an accident."
Since the video was shared on Instagram, it has garnered over fifty-two lakh views.
