What’s Coming?
Nissan is gearing up for a product expansion in India, focusing on local sales and exports. The first big launch will be an all-new 7-seater B-MPV, set to arrive in FY25. This will be followed by a 5-seater compact SUV (C-SUV) in early FY26.
The company has also released teaser images, confirming these upcoming launches. By FY26, Nissan plans to have four models available in India across different SUV and MPV segments.
The New SUVs – What to Expect?
- C-SUV (Launching FY26): This model is designed to make a big impact in India’s SUV market. Taking inspiration from the legendary Nissan Patrol, it will feature Nissan’s advanced technology, premium craftsmanship, and rugged reliability. With a bold design and high ground clearance, it promises to be a strong contender for Indian roads.
- 7-Seater B-MPV (Launching FY25): Targeted at families looking for space, comfort, and value, this MPV will feature Nissan’s signature muscular styling. It will offer a spacious cabin across all three rows without compromising driving pleasure.
Nissan’s Big Goals for India
Nissan aims to sell and export 100,000 units annually from India. To achieve this, both new models will be locally produced at the Alliance JV plant in Chennai.
After the success of the Nissan Magnite, the new C-SUV will also be produced in India and exported worldwide, following the brand’s ‘One Car, One World’ strategy.
