'Batting First?': LSG Skipper Rishabh Pant Teases DC Captain Axar Patel During Toss | Watch
Delhi Capitals skipper Axar Patel has won the toss and invited LSG to bat first in match No. 4 of the IPL 2025, which is currently underway in Visakhapatnam.
Delhi Capitals are taking on Lucknow Super Giants in Match No. 4 of the IPL 2025 on Monday (March 24) in Visakhapatnam. DC captain Axar Patel won the toss and opted to field first at Dr YS Rajasekhara Reddy ACA-VDCA Cricket Stadium in Visakhapatnam. During the toss after the coin landed in favour of Axar and he chose to bowl, LSG captain Rishabh Pant tried to tease him by asking, “Batting first?"

Pant, who is leading LSG in IPL 2025, also wanted to bowl first in the first match of the new season.
No KL Rahul for DC
KL Rahul is not playing in the first match of the IPL 2025 season for Delhi Capitals on Monday. According to a report in Cricbuzz, the 32-year-old right-handed Indian wicketkeeper-batter, who was signed for Rs 14 crore in the IPL 2025 mega auction last year, is expecting his first child and has received special permission from the Delhi Capitals management to skip the match against his former franchise.
“Rahul rushed back home to Mumbai on Sunday night upon learning that his wife, Athiya Shetty, could give birth at any moment. However, he is expected to rejoin his Delhi Capitals teammates for their second game against Sunrisers Hyderabad on March 30," Cricbuzz reported.
“He has returned home to be with his wife, as the baby is expected any time. However, he is certain to be available for the team’s next game," a family friend of Rahul told Cricbuzz.
