Hayley Matthews is in for the penultimate over of the innings. Niki Prasad takes the quick single but Minnu Mani goes after the one turning away from her and finds the fielder by the third-man region. Niki Prasad clobbers one for a maximum to the mid-wicket region.

Bowling change here as Nat Sciver-Brunt comes back into the attack. Marizanne Kapp hits it straight over the bowler to take the single here. Prasad also takes the single. Kapp looks to hammer one straight down but NSB makes a fine block here to save some crucial runs. She goes for the biggie and finds the fielder at the long-off region. NSB goes for the quicker off-cutter here and Shikha Pandey comes down the track and misses everything here as the ball crashes onto the stumps. Minnu Mani goes after the hat-trick ball and pulls it to mid-wicket to get the boundary.

Bowling change here as Shabnim Ismail comes into the attack here. Niki Prasad takes the single to give the strike to the experienced Marizanne Kapp. The dot balls are piling up here, and so is the pressure. Kapp is unable to pierce the fielders in the circle. Gets one on the leg side, and Kapp settles for the single here. Goes full and on the off-side, Prasad looks to scoop it away but does not execute it well. She goes for the orthodox drive to point to get the boundary to close out the over on a high.

Bowling change here and Saika Ishaque is into the attack. Kapp goes after the spinner here and gets the boundary straight past the bowler. She then heaves the shorter delivery to the deep midwicket boundary and Amelie Kerr takes the catch but goes over the line. Kapp does not hold back here and gets another boundary straight past the bowler. Ismail made the dive but did not make the save here.

Amelie Kerr comes back into the attack here and starts off with a fine leg-spinner beating the batter here. There’s an appeal for the stumping here and she seems well inside the crease. She sweeps one to long-on here and they snatch two runs here. Follows it up with a single to the covers. Not too many risks here and DC will bank on these two to get them over the line.

Bowling change here as Hayley Matthews comes into the attack. Niki Prasad is almost beaten for the turn here but the keeper fumbles it here. Takes a single and Kapp goes after Matthews with the one going down the leg side and slogs it over the fine-leg region for the boundary. She then stands up and drives one to the long-off region for another boundary here.

Bowling change here as Nat Sciver-Brunt comes into the attack. Marizanne Kapp goes after the short ball and pulls it away to find the maximum over the long-on boundary ropes. Kapp comes down low and pulls the back-of-the-hand variation here and finds the boundary here to the fine-leg region. A disastrous call for a single here and a fine throw by the fielder at the point region and Sarah Bryce has to walk back.

Saika Ishaque is into the attack here. Looks to hit the fuller lengths here throughout the over here. The final delivery was a tad shorter here and Annabel Sutherland looked to come down the track but missed the ball completely and the keeper enforced the stumping.

Jonassen now clips it to the fielder by the third-man region, but a poor attempt here costs the second boundary in the over. He times one well and hits it to the mid-wicket region for a single. Jemimah takes the quick single here. A poor finish to the powerplay as Matthews goes really short here and Rodrigues pulls it to the fine-leg region for the third boundary in the over.

Shabnim Ismail continues her spell. Looks to keep it nice and full here against Jonassen. The batter seems to be struggling here against Ismail’s stellar display. Gets the off-cutter here and it moves away from the southpaw here just about missing the edge. Finishes with the single here to the backward’s third region here.

There is a bowling change here for the Mumbai Indians as the purple cap-holder, Hayley Matthews, is into the attack. Gets some nice turn on offer here and looks to attack Jonassen with the angle away from the left-hander. Just four runs in the over.

Ismail continues her spell. After two dots, Shafali looks to go after the bowler here. Pulls it away to the mid-wicket region, but Nat Sciver-Brunt makes a fine dive to save the boundary and settles for two runs. The pacer gets the big wicket here. Looked to glance it away to square-leg but hit the pads straight on.

Natalie Sciver-Brunt comes into the attack from the other end. Lanning opts to go at the deep, backwards third man area here for the easy single. Straight deliveries here and DC are not taking too many risks here. Looking to keep the dots to a minimum. Sciver-Brunt goes for the short delivery here, and Lanning pulls it to the boundary at the backward square-leg region.

But the English all-rounder comes back with the straighter line and gets it bang onto the stumps here. Replays show it was the off-cutter here, and it befuddled the batter.

This will be the highest chase completed should the Delhi Capitals come out on top. Mumbai Indians will fancy their chances here but they would want to take early wickets considering both Shafali Verma and Meg Lanning have been DC’s highest run-scorers.

Harmanpreet Kaur smashes Jonassen for a big six but the spinner manages to get Amelia Kerr out on the other end on the fourth ball. S Sajana comes in and is caught LBW in front on the last ball. MI are 5 down!

What has happened here? Young Charani concedes 10 runs in the first 4 balls after the break but manages to get NSB sweep one straight to square leg. A wicket against the run of play, wow!

Sutherland was bowling an almost perfect over with four dots in the first five balls but Harmanpreet still manages to get her away for a boundary on the last ball. With that, the umpires have called for a time-out.

Harman has helped herself to a stunning, counter-attacking half-century. Off just 33 balls and some of the boundaries are being placed like a dream!

Lanning is trying her best. She brings back Shikha Pandey but Harman and NSB manage one boundary each on the first and last balls of the over, respectively. DC really need to find a way to stop this.

Harmanpreet Kaur looks in a sizzling touch here. She hits three consecutive boundaries against Jonassen and runs are flowing like water here suddenly. Some of these shots are exquisite!

Sutherland comes on and Harmanpreet hits her for a big six (the first of the innings) on the first ball. The Aussie tries to control the run flow but the MI skipper manages another boundary. MI’s wheels are rolling now!

Lanning brings on the young left-arm spinner, Nallapureddy Charani, who bowls a few dots but NSB manages to get her away for two boundaries. The all-rounder survives a run-out chance in between the two. It’s heating up!

First over of the spin on the day and it’s Jonassen. She concedes six singles and MI are still bound by the shackles. Something has to give here.

Lanning uses Kapp to end her spell by the seventh over. She doesn’t get another but concedes only two runs. She has bowled all four overs and taken two wickets for 11 runs. How crucial would this be?
