IPL 2025 DC Vs SRH Probable Playing XIs, Key Players To Watch: KL Rahul Set To Make Delhi Capitals Debut
IPL 2025 DC vs SRH Probable Playing XIs: Expected playing XIs and top players to watch out for IPL match between Delhi Capitals and Sunrisers Hyderabad.

IPL 2025 DC vs SRH Probable Playing XIs, Impact Players: Delhi Capitals, after securing a memorable win by 1 wicket over Lucknow Super Giants on Monday (March 24), will face star-studded Sunrisers Hyderabad in their second league match of IPL 2025 on Sunday (March 30) afternoon. Match No. 10 of the ongoing 18th edition of the world’s richest franchise cricket league is scheduled to take place at Dr YS Rajasekhara Reddy ACA-VDCA Cricket Stadium in Visakhapatnam.
DC chased down the total of 210 runs against LSG despite losing the top five batters for just 65 runs in 6.4 overs, and the players will be high on spirits. There will be high expectations once again from the likes of Ashutosh Sharma, Vipraj Nigam and Kuldeep Yadav, who were DC’s top performers in the tournament opener.

On the other hand, SRH will be eager to return back to winning ways after suffering a shocking defeat against LSG. Despite the failure of top-order batters, SRH managed to post 190 runs in the last match but failed to defend it.
DC’s likely playing XI
After missing the Delhi Capitals first match of IPL 2025 due to the birth of his first child, KL Rahul is all set to make his IPL debut for the Delhi-based franchise on Sunday (March 30) against his former team SRH. But it will be interesting to see his batting position. The right-handed batter from Bengaluru likes to play as an opener in the shortest format of the game but could be seen as a No. 4 batter for Delhi Capitals due to the presence of Jake Fraser-McGurk and Faf du Plessis at the top.
However, he is all set to take wicketkeeping gloves from Abishek Porel. The Bengal wicketkeeper-batter could lose his place in the playing XI along with Sameer Rizvi to make way for Rahul and Ashutosh Sharma, who, after coming in as an impact sub against LSG, single-handedly won the match for Delhi Capitals.
In the bowling, Mitchell Starc will lead DC’s pace attack along with Mohit Sharma and Mukesh Kumar. It will be interesting to see if T Natarajan gets a game against his former side.
DC’s probable playing XI: Jake Fraser-McGurk, Faf du Plessis, Abishek Porel, KL Rahul (WK), Axar Patel (C), Tristan Stubbs, Ashutosh Sharma, Vipraj Nigam, Mitchell Starc, Kuldeep Yadav, Mohit Sharma
Impact players: Mukesh Kumar, T Natarajan
SRH’s likely playing XI
After failing to defend the total of 190 runs in the last match played against Lucknow Super Giants, SRH would like to add more firepower to its bowling unit, and there are high chances that senior Indian pacer Jaydev Unadkat could get a game in place of Simarjeet Singh. Unadkat was part of the SRH set-up last year as well and did well in a couple of matches.
There are also question marks over Adam Zampa’s place. The Australian spinner came in as an impact player against RR and LSG but failed to live up to the expectations. In his place, SRH could bring in South Africa’s Wiaan Mulder, Sri Lanka’s Ehsan Malinga or Indian spinner Rahul Chahar.
The Hyderabad-based franchise is, however, unlikely to make any changes to its batting unit.
SRH’s probable playing XI: Abhishek Sharma, Travis Head, Ishan Kishan, Nitish Kumar Reddy, Heinrich Klaasen (wk), Aniket Verma, Abhinav Manohar, Pat Cummins (c), Jaydev Unadkat, Harshal Patel, Mohammed Shami
Impact players: Adam Zampa, Rahul Chahar, Simarjeet Singh
