Ex-USA Head Coach Searching Job On LinkedIn After Getting Sacked With Alleged Discrimination Charges
After being sacked as the Head Coach of the USA Cricket Team after alleged discrimination to Indian-origin players, Stuart Law is seen hunting for new coaching opportunities on LinkedIn.

The former Head Coach of the USA senior men’s national, Stuart Law, who was recently dismissed after reported allegations of discrimination, has now turned to LinkedIn in search of new coaching roles. His recent job search comes after his exit which raised concerns about the team management and player treatment in the USA national cricket team.
The former Australian international player had coaching stints Sri Lanka, West Indies, Bangladesh, Afghanistan and most recently the USA. He was part of the management when the side jointly hosted the T20 World Cup 2024 alongside the West Indies.

As per multiple reports, the relationship between the players and head coach became sour after a number of incidents during the T20 World Cup 2024 and the Netherlands tour.
A report by Cricbuzz claims that the players had written a letter where they alleged how ‘his malicious outlook towards a few players has brought the team environment to its lowest ebb’. The letter further alleged how ‘he infused an air of mistrust amongst team members through his lies and deceit’. It also claimed that the ‘discriminatory tactics’ against a group of players left the players ‘alienated and completely demoralised’.
The letter accused Law of attempting to turn USA cricketers against captain Patel by ‘lying through his teeth’. Apart from Patel, Indian-origin players like Harmeet Singh and Milind Kumar also faced issues with Law.
The report suggests that the reason for Law’s dismissal is allegations of discrimination, mistrust, and favouritism for a certain set of players levelled by 7-8 senior players, most of whom are of Indian origin, including the captain, Monank Patel.
The side had a fairly positive tournament despite not having a major presence as they beat the likes of Pakistan in a Super Over which gave them a massive boost. The likes of Andries Gous was their highest run-scorer with 219 runs from the eight games played as the co-hosts made their way to the Super Eight stages of the tournament.
As for Law’s future endeavours, it remains to be seen whether he would find a coaching stint elsewhere considering the reports that have been released.
