Social media has slammed Mohammad Rizwan-led Pakistan Super League team Multan Sultans for taking an unnecessary jibe at India skipper Rohit Sharma, mocking him with an act from the Champions Trophy-winning press conference.
The team used Rohit‘s voice in their video to create excitement for the unveiling of the PSL 2025 trophy.

Pakistan had a poor outing in the Champions Trophy, despite being the defending champions and hosts. Rizwan-led Pakistan couldn’t register a single victory over their opponents.
On the other hand, Rohit-led India remained unbeaten throughout the Champions Trophy as they beat Bangladesh, Pakistan and New Zealand in their group-stage games.
This year the Pakistan Super League is scheduled to begin on April 11, with the tournament clashing with IPL and missing out on notable players. The tournament’s opener will be played between Islamabad United and Lahore Qalandars.
The league stage will feature 30 games, followed by the Qualifier, Eliminator 1 and Eliminator 2 on May 13, 14 and 16.
Rawalpindi will host 11 games, while Lahore will stage 13. All Pakistan Super League games this season will overlap with IPL 2025, which runs from Saturday, March 22 to Sunday, May 25.
Because of clashes with the Indian Premier League, the Pakistan Super League faced troubles in bagging foreign cricketers.
Notably, Peshawar Zalmi had signed South Africa’s Corbin Bosch for the upcoming season. He pulled out of PSL after being presented with the chance to join the Mumbai Indians as a replacement for his compatriot Lizaad Williams.
