It was the eighth over of England’s innings after India skipper Suryakumar Yadav won the toss and opted to field first.

On the third ball of the over, Varun went a bit wide of the crease and served the wrong’un on a length and on off stump, turning the ball back in. Brook stayed back and managed to get leg side of the ball, trying to create some room but the ball angled in taking the inside edge and went onto the pads before eventually crashing onto the stumps.

On the fifth ball of the over, Varun Chakravarthy bowled it on the in-between length and around off. The delivery was a big wrong’un as Livingstone backed away a fair bit past the leg stump, looking to bring out the cover drive. He was beaten on the angle and the ball castled into the leg stump.

Varun Chakravarthy could have got the wicket of Jacob Bethell as well but the England batter was stumped by Sanju Samson only to be saved by the third umpire following a DRS call.

In his last over of the game, he did manage to get another wicket as he sent back Jos Buttler as Nitish Kumar Reddy pulled off a stunning catch in the deep.
