South Africa cricketer Faf du Plessis is currently chilling out in Maldives with the former captain sharing a clip of his vacation with his followers on social media.
The star batter, rocking a pair of olive shorts and dark sunglasses, can be seen sprinting on a wooden platform before leaping into the water.

Fans have been awestruck by the 40-year-old Du Plessis’ impressive physique.

Du Plessis was not retained by RCB ahead of the IPL 2025 mega auction. He served as RCB skipper across three editions of the tournament in 2022, 2023 and 2024.
“As my chapter closes with RCB I want to take a moment to reflect on what an incredible journey this has been," Du Plessis wrote after his exit from the franchise.
“As I say goodbye, I want to express my deepest gratitude to everyone. The fans, my teammates, the staff, coaches and owners. It’s been an honour to be a part of this journey with you. Much love," he added.
Delhi Capitals pounced on the opportunity and signed Du Plessis at the IPL mega auction held in Jeddah.
They ended up buying the player for Rs 2 crore.
The South African batter has competed in 12 IPL seasons so far. He has played 145 matches scored 4571 runs.
