'Why Should Batters Have All The Fun?': Ravi Bishnoi's Cheeky Response After IND's Win vs ENG
Bishnoi, who struck two boundaries towards the fag end and made the chase easier, said he wanted to give as much strike to Varma as he was well set.

What’s cricket without a little bit of fun? Well, Ravi Bishoi definitely knew that, when the leg-spinner came to the rescue of India, alongside MOTM Tilak Varma, with the bat this time around against England in the 2nd T20I in Chennai.
India won a close match by two wickets, achieving the victory target of 166 with four ball remaining, with Tilak Varma smashing an unbeaten 55-ball 72 and Bishnoi giving him company.

Bishnoi, who struck two boundaries towards the fag end and made the chase easier, said he wanted to give as much strike to Varma as he was well set.
“My job was to give him (Tilak) strike and not play any unnecessary shots. Today I posted a reel on Instagram – “Why should batters have all the fun?" When the slip came in, I knew they were trying to dismiss me with leg-spin. I tried to go over covers but I got a lucky four," stated the cheeky Bishnoi.
“(We told each other) let’s try, we will get (achieve) it."
Varma sure did believe in Bishnoi’s words and himself, as the left-hander put up a blistering 72* off 55 balls, an innings peppered with 4 fours and 5 sixes, as he helped India seal the shaky win.
“One of the best innings in T20s. Wickets were falling, it wasn’t an easy wicket and if you look at their bowling attack, they had all the big names," Bishnoi lauded Varma.
“He’s doing this from the last 2-3 months. He got two hundred in South Africa, he’s playing well in the domestic arena as well, we knew something big was coming. He’s doing really big now."
India now hold a 2-0 lead in the five-match series against England. The two sides will fae off next on January 28 in Rajkot.
