Bihar Board 10th Result 2025: The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) has announced the Class 10 or matriculation board exam results for 2025 today, March 29, at noon through a press conference. The results are now available on the official BSEB websites: matricresult2025.com and matricbiharboard.com. A total of 1,558,077 students appeared for the exams, with 1,279,294 students passing, resulting in an overall pass percentage of 82.11%.

In the BSEB 10th Result 2025, 123 students secured a place in the top 10 across the state, including 60 girls and 63 boys. Notably, Sakshi Kumari, Anshu Kumari, and Ranjan Verma shared the first position with an outstanding score of 489 marks, or 97.8%.
This year’s pass percentage is a little lower than the previous year’s, indicating a marginal dip in overall performance. In the Bihar Board 10th Result 2025, 82.11% of students have successfully passed, showing a slight decline compared to last year’s result of 82.91%.

Looking at the results over the past five years, 2022 witnessed the lowest pass percentage, with only 78.17% of students passing the Bihar Board 10th exams.

The gender-wise performance in the BSEB Class 10 exam reveals some interesting differences. Among male students, 7,52,685 appeared for the exam, with 6,29,620 passing and 1,23,065 failing, resulting in a pass percentage of 83.65%.
In contrast, 8,05,392 female students appeared for the exam, with 6,49,674 passing and 1,55,718 failing, giving them a pass percentage of 80.67%.
Bihar Board 10th Result 2025 Rewards
The top scorer will now be awarded 2 lakh rupees, double the previous reward of 1 lakh rupees. The student securing the second position will receive 1.50 lakh rupees, an increase from last year’s 75,000 rupees.
The student who secured third place in the BSEB 10th exams will receive a prize of 1 lakh rupees. Furthermore, students ranked fourth to tenth will be rewarded with 20,000 rupees, marking a substantial rise from the previous reward of 10,000 rupees.
