JEE Main 2024 Result: The NTA has announced the JEE Main 2024 Session 1 result. A total of 23 students have scored 100 percentile this year with seven students from Telangana achieving this feat. Candidates who took the exam can check their results from the official websites now at nta.ac.in and jeemain.nta.ac.in. The exam was conducted between January 24 and February 1. The provisional answer key was released on February 6. The agency has released the final answer key and has dropped six questions overall. Over 12 lakh students or around 95.8 per cent of the registered candidates appeared for the Joint Entrance Examination session 1 2024.

Can NTA Cancel JEE Results of its Candidates?

Yes. The candidate(s) who engage in unfair methods and practices shall have their JEE (Main) – 2024 results cancelled and not released. Similarly, the results of applicants who appear from a different centre than the one that was assigned to them or allow another candidate/person to write the examination on their behalf shall be annulled. Saumitra Garg secured 100 percentile in JEE Main 2022 Session 1. The 19-year-old also cleared KVPY – the entrance exam for IISc Bangalore. He said that he managed to get the 100 percentile score in the engineering entrance without much preparation. “I did not focus on JEE Main. I have been preparing for the IIT entrance exam – JEE Advanced for the past two years. There are only a few chapters which are different in JEE Main and Advanced. Since Advance is a better difficulty exam, clearing concepts for it helped me automatically prepare for Main. I did not focus much on it as my main aim has always been getting a seat in an IIT,” he told News18.com.
