The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) is set to reopen the registration window for the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test for Master of Dental Surgery (NEET MDS) 2025 today, April 3. Eligible and interested candidates can apply by visiting the official website at natboard.edu.in. The last date to apply is April 6.

To apply for NEET MDS 2025, candidates must complete their internship between April 1 and June 30. Earlier, the cut-off date for completion of the internship toward eligibility for NEET-MDS 2025 was March 31, 2025.
They must hold a Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) degree from any institute that is registered with the State Dental Council or has either provisional or permanent registration. Further, a one-year mandatory rotational internship in an approved/recognised dentistry college is required.

Step 3 – Register yourself.
Step 4 – Complete the application form.
Step 5 – Pay the application fees and submit.
Step 6 – Download and take a printout of the NEET MDS 2025 application form for future reference.
NEET MDS 2025: Application Fee
Candidates belonging to the general, EWS, and OBC categories are required to pay Rs 3,500, while SC, ST, and other category candidates have to pay Rs 2,500.
NEET MDS 2025: Exam Pattern
NEET MDS 2025 exam will consist of 240 multiple-choice questions. It will be held on a computer-based platform at various test centres across India for a duration of three hours. The exam is divided into two parts — Part A consisting of 100 questions and Part B featuring 140 questions. Each question carries four and one mark will be deducted for each wrong answer.
The entrance exam is conducted by NBE for admission to all postgraduate dental courses offered by institutions in India.
