Man City's Pep Guardiola Not Expecting Wins To 'Come From The Sky' As UCL Qualification Hopes Dangle Dangerously
City's loss against Forest was his ninth loss in 28 games this Premier League season, tying Guardiola's most league losses in a single season as a head coach.

Seems like Manchester City’s top four hopes may be up in the air, but boss Pep Guardiola sure doesn’t have his head in the clouds, reiterating the need for the club to recoup and string wins together in order to stay alive in the hunt.
It has been a season to forget for both City and Guardiola, who sit at a precarious fourth place in the Premier League table, just a mere point ahead of Chelsea, who have a game in hand.

His loss against Forest was his ninth loss in 28 games this Premier League season, tying his most league losses in a single season as a head coach.
To keep their season alive, though, the motive going forward is simple: win or stay home.
“We have to win games, and if we don’t win enough games in a row to be secure, it will be a battle. We have 10 games left, and we have to win a lot of games to qualify. It’s as simple as that," Guardiola told reporters.
“To find a way, you have to play better. You have to find something. It will not come from the sky. You have to do it. In situations, you have to find something."
City’s campaign has been hindered by a rash of injuries, with Ballon d’Or winner Rodri, defenders John Stones, Manuel Akanji and Nathan Ake among those sidelined.
But, there are no excuses in the eyes of Guardiola, who hopes that the international break shall provide a bit of time to recalibrate themselves.
“The situation is what it is. We have 10 games left starting next Saturday against Brighton, international break after, and then we will see what happens."
