Devinarayan further raised concerns about the police investigation, suggesting there might be more suspects involved.
“I feel that there are some loopholes in the police probe. There could be more suspects. All suspects must be arrested," he asserted. Expressing disbelief over the circumstances of the crime, he added, “I can’t believe uncle went all the way there (the accused wife’s workplace). He was also well-built physically, so I don’t feel just two people could do this," he added
How The Murder Took Place?
The police said the incident happened after Dhannalal had confronted his wife about her extra-marital affair. As the confrontation turned violent, the woman and her lover hit Dhannalal on his head with an iron rod, which resulted in his death.
“After the deceased objected to the affair, his wife and co-accused Deendayal hit the deceased on his head with an iron rod in rage, which resulted in the deceased losing consciousness and possibly dying on the spot," ANI quoted Jaipur Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP South) Digant Anand as saying.
The incident came to light on March 16 after the police were informed about a half-burnt body near a main road. As officials reached the spot, they suspected the victim had been murdered and that his body had been burnt for hiding evidence.
The police also said that the remains of the body were put in a sack and dumped on the road.
