Five youths in Jodhpur aged between 20 and 25 were apprehended for breaking the windows of numerous vehicles parked within a residential colony. This act of vandalism involving the youths took place on November 30. Vehicle owners promptly reported the incident to the police.
Following the reports, the police reviewed approximately 300 CCTV footage from the colony and surrounding areas.

Police surveillance of a hostel in the colony led to a raid where it was discovered that five students had recently vacated the premises. Acting on information obtained from the hostel, they launched a search for the students and finally apprehended them.
One of the students was preparing for the NEET examination, while the remaining four were focused on the Staff Selection Commission examination. Their motive for vandalising cars was determined to be purely recreational. The students had, on a whim, decided to break the car windows under the cover of darkness.
It has been reported that 12 vehicles in Jodhpur’s BJS colony and four in Maderna colony suffered broken windows on the night of November 30.
