On reaching the spot where they planned to bury him alive, Hardeep and his friends taped Jagdeep’s mouth so that he couldn’t make any noise.
How Did The Police Find Out?
The police informed that Jagdeep’s body was recovered months after the murder took place on basis of the investigation that was launched on a missing person’s complaint.
A complaint was filed at the Shivaji Colony Police station on January 3, nearly 10 days after the murder took place. The police did not find any evidence until they accessed Jagdeep’s call records and found enough evidence to detain Hardeep and one of his friends, Dharampal.
After receiving the custody of the accused persons, the police officials began interrogating them, who then revealed the details about the killing.
Following which the body was recovered on Monday, March 24, exactly three months after the murder.
