According to initial investigations, some victims of the Pahalgam attack were shot from a distance using sniper-like tactics, while several others died due to excessive blood loss. Investigators believe the location was deliberately chosen to delay rescue efforts and maximize casualties, pointing to a calculated and brutal strategy by the attackers.
Survivors, who were in close proximity, were able to see the attackers, while others remained stationed at a distance, providing cover.
