Rising Bharat Summit 2025: Pioneering Tech Entrepreneur Hitesh Oberoi To Share His Insights

Technology entrepreneur Hitesh Oberoi, who is also among the brains behind two of India’s new-age universities, will be among the speakers at the Rising Bharat Summit 2025 on April 8 and 9 in New Delhi. The summit, where Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be speaking too, brings together visionaries and changemakers to contribute to India’s journey toward global economic and industrial leadership.
An alumnus of IIT Delhi and IIM Bangalore, Oberoi is a co-promoter, MD and CEO of Info Edge India Limited, the force behind India’s leading job site, Naukri.com, besides realty portal 99acres.com, matchmaking site Jeevansathi.com, and education portal Shiksha.com. InfoEdge has been a pioneer in the Indian internet space and was one of the first internet companies to go public on the Indian stock markets in 2006.

Among one of the founders and trustee of Ashoka University as well as of Plaksha University, Oberoi got major recognition early in his career. He won the prestigious Ernst and Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award for Business Transformation in 2008, says his profile on the Plaksha website. He was also awarded the Distinguished Alumnus Award by IIM Bangalore in 2019 and by IIT Delhi in 2021.
He is a charter member of the TiE, New Delhi, a global organisation fostering entrepreneurship through mentoring, networking and education. He is a former chairperson of the Internet and Mobile Association of India (IAMAI).
