As the dramatic turn of events occurred, people were seen running for life. The driver had lost control of the vehicle, after which the tanker crashed onto the service road.

Black kerosene spilled on the road and spread as the truck caught fire.
Local authorities rushed to the spot and launched operation to take control of the fire besides the cleanup process.
They also asked people not to enter the area as the operation was underway.
An investigation into the incident was also launched, officials said.
