Telangana Man Falls For Two Women, Marries Both In Same Wedding Mandap
Suryadev, who hails from Gumnoor village in Telangana, said that he fell in love with Lal Devi and Jhalkari Devi and then decided to marry both of them in one ceremony.

In a unique wedding ceremony, a man decided to marry two lovers in the same mandap in the Komaram Bheem Asifabad district of Telangana.
Suryadev, who lives in Gumnoor village in Lingapur mandal, claimed to be in love with two women – Lal Devi and Jhalkari Devi – and took the decision to marry both of them in one wedding ceremony, reported NDTV.

The groom also got the names of both the brides printed on one wedding invitation card and married them in a grand ceremony.
In a video shared on social media platform X, the two women were seen holding the hand of the man during the wedding as the three carried out the wedding rituals in front of their families, relatives and villagers. In the background, dhol can be heard amid rituals.

As per NDTV, Suryadev fell in love with Jhalkari Devi and Lal Devi and the three decided to live together.
Initially, the village elders did not agree to this but eventually, they gave a nod to the wedding. In India, polygamy is illegal for Hindus.
A similar case came in 2021 when a man in Telangana’s Adilabad district got married to two women in one ‘mandap’.
