UPI Services Disrupted Across India: Users Report Issues On GPay, Paytm, SBI

Later, National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI) said that it had faced intermittent issues due to luctuations in the success rates in some banks.

According to the tracking website, 449 complaints were reported as of 8 pm. 64% of complaints were linked to funds transfer, followed by 28% for payments and 8% for app-related problems.
National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI), along with the affected banks and payment apps, has yet to issue an official statement on the issue.
Several users took to X to share that they were unable to do transactions via mobile applications.
Earlier on March 26, digital transactions were hit due to a widespread UPI outage, with a large number of users reporting problems in the instant payment interface. As per Downdetector, there were over 3,000 complaints from users with respect to UPI outage.
Later, NPCI said that it had faced intermittent technical issues. “NPCI had faced intermittent technical issues owing to which UPI had partial decline. The same has been addressed now and the system has stabilised. Regret the inconvenience," NPCI said.
