Diana Penty’s Denim Outing: Revamped, Reused and Rocking
Diana Penty celebrates sustainability in a deconstructed upcycled denim skirt from Kamal Haasan’s fashion label, KH House of Khaddar.

Diana Penty showed us how to embrace sustainability while having some fun under the sun! ‘Revamped, Reused and Rocking’ is how Diana defined her recent look, styled by celebrity fashion stylist Namita Alexander.
The deconstructed denim skirt has been designed by KH House of Khaddar, a fashion brand envisioned by filmmaker-actor Kamal Haasan. Spearheading the brand under Haasan’s tutelage, designer Amritha Ram showcased this stunning sustainable piece at the recent New York Fashion Week 2025 in January. The skirt was part of KH House of Khaddar’s Spring Summer collection, Sutura, which Amritha showcased on the ramp.

Diana was styled in the deconstructed upcycled denim skirt, which was crafted from KH House of Khaddar’s previous collection pieces. Stitched together to create an iconic avantgarde silhouette, the skirt represents the brand’s aim towards sustainability.

iana’s look also featured a white ganji which Namita cut and styled with a bra. Diana looked uber-chic in the ensemble. ‘How much denim is too much denim? There’s no such thing’ expressed Namita Alexander on Instagram. And we couldn’t agree more. Namita not only styled Diana in a unique statement piece but gave sustainable fashion a sexy name!
It’s not everyday you see a Bollywood celebrity root for sustainability. And we are glad Diana loves days like these when she gets to explore the topic through fashion. The skirt adds depth to her casual out of the box look and also celebrates Namita’s creative vision when it comes to styling. This denim skirt is a showstopper in itself and Diana owns this look like a diva!
