Kiran Rao calls Aamir Khan’s mother Zeenat Hussain the ‘best and most beautiful hostess’ as she celebrates Eid 2025 with the superstar’s family.
Filmmaker Kiran Rao has finally shared pictures from Eid 2025 celebration at her ex-husband Aamir Khan’s mother Zeenat Hussain’s residence. She was joined by Aamir’s ex-wife Reena Dutta, and his sisters Farhat Datta, and Nikhat Hegde for the celebrations. The ladies stunned in ethnic gharara outfits, and posed together happily for pictures. Aamir and Kiran’s son Azad Rao, Ira Khan, Nupur Shikhare, Avinash Gowariker, Ashutosh Gowariker and others were also seen in the pictures!
Kiran Rao took to her Instagram account to drop some happy photos from their Eid celebration at ‘Ammi’ Zeenat Hussain’s residence. Aamir Khan’s mother is seen smiling in the first picture, while another one shows her enjoying a meal with Aamir and Kiran Rao’s son Azad Rao Khan. Kiran Rao also posed with Reena Dutta, Nikhat Hegde and Farhat in one photo, while another picture also features Imran Khan’s mother Nuzhat Khan. Reena and Aamir’s daughter Ira Khan, her husband Nupur Shikhare were also seen enjoying the festivities in one picture, while another photo shows Lagaan director Ashutosh Gowariker, and Avinash Gowariker enjoying a conversation.

The last picture shows Aamir Khan’s ex-wives Kiran Rao and Reena Dutta happily posing together for a selfie during Eid celebration. Aamir and his ladylove Gauri Spratt were missing from the pictures. “Eid at Ammi’s – who is the best and most beautiful hostess – is a celebration with family, friends and always the best feast! We hope and pray this year brings peace and happiness to us all…," wrote Kiran, while sharing the cheerful Eid photos.

While Kiran Rao wore a mustard yellow and pink churidar for the occasion, Reena Dutta donned a purple gharara set. Aamir’s sisters were also seen in beautiful ghararas, and sharing their photo on her Instagram story, Kiran Rao wrote, “The gorgeous gharara gang." Have a look!
Aamir Khan married Reena Dutta in 1986. They have two children- son Junaid Khan and daughter Ira Khan. Aamir and Reena got divorced in 2002. The Bollywood superstar married Kiran Rao in 2005. In 2011, they welcomed their son Azad Rao. In 2021, the couple announced their separation, and stated that they would raise their son together. Aamir is now in a relationship with Gauri Spratt, whom he publicly introduced at an informal meet-and-greet session with the media ahead of his 60th birthday.
