Ananya Panday And Vedang Raina To Star In Imtiaz Ali’s Next Film? Here’s What We Know
Recently, it was also reported Vicky Kaushal and Ananya Panday are likely to be seen in the lead role in Gully Boy 2.
Ananya Panday and Vedang Raina will feature in Imtiaz Ali’s next film. Well, nothing has been made official till now. Filmfare has reported that the stars have given their look tests for the role. The film is from a romantic genre and will be working for the first time.
Filmfare has quoted sources saying, “Both Vedang and Ananya have done auditions or looks tests for Imtiaz’s film. They are not finalised yet. This is a big project and we believe there are other stars being considered as well. Some big names from Bollywood have been approached for this film." The source does reveal that they’re confident that Vedang and Ananya will eventually come together for this film.

Ananya Panday will be next seen with Akshay Kumar, and R. Madhavan. They are set to headline Karan Johar’s upcoming untitled film. The film will release date: March 14, 2025. The film will be directed by Karan Singh Tyagi. In the note, the makers have shared key details about the movie wherein it reads, “The untitled film on the shocking cover-up of a massacre that pushed India’s top barrister C. Sankaran Nair to fight an unprecedented battle against British Empire. The film is inspired from real life events & adapted from the book “The Case That Shook The Empire" written by Raghu Palat and Pushpa Palat."
Vedang Raina made waves as Reggie Mantle in Zoya Akhtar’s The Archies, marking his OTT debut in 2023. And 2024? It’s been an incredible year for him, too. He made his theatrical debut in Jigra, playing the brother of Alia Bhatt’s character, taking his acting career to new heights.
