On the Mamaarazzi podcast, Aalim Hakim revealed that his wife comes from a Sikh Sardar family, while he comes from a Muslim background. Aalim also mentioned that he and his wife plan to teach their children about all religions and beliefs but will never pressure them to follow one specific path. Instead, they want their kids to make their own choices. He added, “If you visit our home, my kids will greet you with respect—they’ll touch your feet, say ‘Aadab,’ ‘Alaikum Assalam,’ and ‘Sat Sri Akaal.'"
