Chiyaan Vikram Confesses His Wife Is A Huge Mohanlal Fan: 'Whatever I Do, She Will Say He Does It Better'

South superstars Chiyaan Vikram and Mohanlal are great buddies. Interestingly, their films Veera Dheera Sooran and L2: Empuraan, respectively, released on the same day in theatres. During a press conference, Vikram expressed his admiration for Mohanlal, who is fondly called Lalettan. He also shared a hilarious account of how his wife, too, is a big fan of the star and feels that whatever Mohanlal does is better.
Vikram, while promoting Veera Dheera Sooran in Kerala, said, “I am a huge fan of Lalettan, but my wife is a bigger fan than me. Whatever I do, and even if I do something very nice, she will say Mohanlal does it better." He recounted a playful exchange with his wife about which film she would watch first on Thursday, March 27. Amused, he shared that she couldn’t decide and enthusiastically chose to watch both Veera Dheera Sooran and L2: Empuraan.

Starring Mohanlal and Prithviraj Sukumaran in the lead, L2: Empuraan is a political action thriller film. Directed by Prithviraj himself, the film is the sequel to the 2019 hit Malayalam film, Lucifer. It is jointly produced by Antony Perumbavoor and Gokulam Gopalan under the banners of Aashirvad Cinemas Pvt Ltd and Sree Gokulam Movies. The film stars an ensemble cast including Tovino Thomas, Indrajith Sukumaran, Manju Warrier, Abhimanyu Singh and Suraj Venjaramoodu in significant roles.
As for Chiyaan Vikram’s film, it is also titled Veera Dheera Sooran Part 2. The gangster drama will see the actor in a power-punched role, beating and killing goons like it’s no task. The film released on March 27, coinciding with L2: Empuraan.
