Farah Khan Is Shocked As Cook Dilip Demands A Fee To Star In Khichdi Movie 3; He Says, 'Pagal Log Hain'
Jamnadas Majethia confirmed a third installment of the film on Farah Khan's YouTube channel.
Farah Khan’s cook, Dilip, has become an internet sensation. Farah Khan might be the star behind the camera, but on her YouTube channel, it’s her cook Dilip who’s stealing the spotlight. Over the course of several vlogs featuring celebrities like Karan Johar, Aditi Rao Hydari, Karishma Tanna, and Karan Patel, it has become clear that audiences can’t get enough of Dilip. In another hilarious interaction with the cast of the Khichdi movie, Dilip left Farah shocked when he demanded a fee to star in the film.
In Farah’s latest vlog, Khichdi’s cast, including Anang Desai, Supriya Pathak, Vandana Pathak, Jamnadas Majethia, and the show’s writer and director Aatish Kapadia, made an appearance to confirm a third installment of the film. Jamnadas Majethia confirmed, “I want to announce on your channel that Khichdi Part 3 will come in the year 2027, which will also mark 25 years of Khichdi."

He assured Farah that there would be a role for her in the film, just like in the previous two installments. The Khichdi team then asked Dilip if he would also star in the film. He said, “Paisa denge toh karunga (I’ll do it if you pay me)." Farah responded in Hindi, “You want money also? You’re getting to work in such a big film." Dilip replied, “I’m also taking money from you."
The vlog was full of Khichdi-style hilarious moments that led to Farah saying, “Main pagal ho rahi hoon (I am going mad)." The cast’s food-related puns and banter even left Dilip to his wit’s end. He told Farah, “Madam chalo, yeh humse bhi zyada pagal log hain (Let’s go, they’re crazier than us)."
Additionally, Jamnadas Majethia also revealed that they are trying to re-release Khichdi: The Movie in theatres on May 4, 2025, on the occasion of World Laughter Day. However, an official announcement of the same is awaited.
