Hrithik Roshan REACTS To His Directorial Debut With Krrish 4: ‘Can’t Tell You How Nervous…’ | Watch
At a recent event, Hrithik Roshan confirmed directing Krrish 4, and humorously wished himself good luck for his directorial debut!
Last week, Rakesh Roshan announced that he is passing on the Krrish 4 directorial baton to his son Hrithik Roshan. While Rakesh Roshan directed three successful films of the Krrish franchise, Hrithik is all set to make his directorial debut with Krrish 4! Now, at a recent event, Hrithik himself confirmed that he will be going behind the camera again, and said that he is going to need good luck for this new role. He also expressed his excitement and nervousness about donning the director’s hat, and added that he will need all the encouragement that he can possibly get
During an event in Atlanta, USA, hosted by Sophie Choudry, Hrithik Roshan was shown an old picture of himself behind the camera. Describing the photo, the actor said, “This was during a film called Koyla. That was the first time I did something behind the camera. I directed the making of Koyla. And now I am going behind the camera again. Good luck to me." When asked to confirm his directorial debut with Krrish 4, Hrithik said that the audience already knows it. “They already know it," he said, as the crowd cheered for him. He further added, “I can’t tell you all how nervous I am, I’ll need all the encouragement I possibly can get." Check out the video below!

At the same event, Hrithik Roshan was also asked to name his favourite co-star. He replied, “My favourite co-star is actually Jr NTR. I just did ‘War 2’ with him and he is amazing, brilliant. He is such a fine team mate, man. I think we have done something good. I can’t wait for you guys to watch it. War 2, 14th August," he said, confirming the release date of their upcoming film War 2, directed by Ayan Mukerji.
Coming back to Hrithik Roshan’s directorial debut, last week, Rakesh Roshan shared a post on Instagram that read, “Duggu 25yrs back I launched you as an actor, and today again after 25 years you are being launched as a director by two filmmakers Aditya Chopra & myself to take forward our most ambitious film #Krrish4. Wish you all the success in this new avatar with good wishes and blessings!"While Hrithik will direct Krrish 4, Aditya Chopra will back the film. It is reportedly in the pre-production stage, and is expected to go on floors by early 2026.
