Kareena Kapoor's Team Confirms Saif Ali Khan Has 'An Injury On His Arm', Is In Surgery: 'Family Is Fine'
Saif Ali Khan has sustained six stab wounds and one is close to his spine, as per doctors.
Kareena Kapoor’s team has issued a statement regarding Saif Ali Khan’s injuries after the actor sustained multiple wounds in a scuffle with a thief. A robbery attempt occurred at Saif and Kareena‘s Mumbai residence on Thursday morning and Saif Ali Khan has sustained several stab injuries. Kareena’s team confirmed that the actor is currently undergoing surgery.
The statement read, “There was an attempted burglary in Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan’s residence last night. Saif had an injury on his arm for which he is in hospital, undergoing a procedure. The rest of the family is doing fine."

Saif Ali Khan’s team also stated, “There was an attempted burglary at Mr Saif Ali Khan’s residence. He is currently in hospital undergoing surgery. We request the media and fans to be patient. It is a police matter We will keep you updated on the situation."
Saif Ali Khan’s condition is being closely monitored at the Lilavati hospital. According to Dr Niraj Uttamani, the Chief Operating Officer of Lilavati Hospital, Saif was brought to the hospital around 3:30 AM after sustaining six stab wounds, two of which were deep. One of the injuries is reportedly near his spine. Saif is currently undergoing surgery, which is being led by a team of doctors, including Neurosurgeon Dr Nitin Dange, Cosmetic Surgeon Dr Leena Jain and Anaesthesiologist Dr Nisha Gandhi.
Meanwhile, Mumbai Police have confirmed that the incident occurred around 4 AM. The police are currently searching for the suspect. At the moment, both the Mumbai Police and the Crime Branch team are at Saif Ali Khan’s residence, conducting a search using CCTV footage. Saif’s servant attempted to apprehend the thief, and during this commotion, Saif woke up. The actor got injured in a scuffle with the thief.
