Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt‘s latest ad for an online travel company is creating quite a stir on social media. Set in a nostalgic 90s style, the commercial showcases the duo as the quintessential “hero and heroine" of that era. Actress Karisma Kapoor recently joined the conversation, sharing her own nostalgia after watching the ad, and reminiscing about her iconic roles in Biwi No. 1 and Hero No. 1.
Sharing the promo on Instagram, Karisma wrote in the caption, “Got nostalgic after watching this! They both look like Hero no.1 and Biwi no. 1."

In the ad, Alia sports a pink and white polka dot top with puffed sleeves, teamed with a matching long skirt, while Ranveer looks dashing in a multicoloured jacket over a white T-shirt, paired with white bell-bottom trousers. The commercial is shot in a grainy, retro 90s-style aesthetic, adding to its vintage charm.
As soon as the Raja Hindustani actress dropped the clip, the comments section was swamped with reactions from fans and celebs alike. Ranveer shared, “LOLO SUPREMACY." Several fans lauded Alia as she resembled Madhuri Dixit from her 90s. An Instagram user wrote, “Alia looks younger version of Madhuri Dixit Ji completely." Another commented, “She definitely gives a glimpse of Madhuri Dixit may be the hairstyle and the way she does her eyebrows and makeup like her."
On the work front, Alia was last seen in the action drama Jigra, which didn’t perform well at the box office. The film also starred Vedang Raina and Manoj Pahwa in prominent roles.
Next, she will be seen in the spy action thriller Alpha, alongside Sharvari and Anil Kapoor. Directed by Shiv Rawail, the film is slated for a Christmas release. Additionally, Alia is set to star in director Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s upcoming project, Love and War, alongside Ranbir Kapoor and Vicky Kaushal.
Ranveer, on the other hand, is currently shooting for director Aditya Dhar’s upcoming spy thriller Dhurandhar, with the official release date still to be announced. He also has Farhan Akhtar’s highly anticipated film Don 3 in his lineup.
