Kesari Chapter 2: Ananya Panday Unveils New PICS Of Her Character Dilreet Gill, BFF Suhana Khan Hypes Her Up
Suhana Khan calls Ananya Panday ‘the best’ as the latter drops new photos of her character Dilreet Gill from Kesari Chapter 2.
There is massive excitement for the theatrical release of Akshay Kumar, R Madhavan, and Ananya Panday starrer ‘Kesari Chapter 2’, especially since the trailer of the film was unveiled a few days ago. Ananya, who plays Dilreet Gill, has further heightened fans’ curiosity by sharing stunning new black-and-white photos of her character. Her best friend, and Shah Rukh Khan’s daughter Suhana Khan was thrilled to see the new glimpses, and she cheered for Ananya, calling her ‘the best’.
On Friday, Ananya Panday took to her Instagram account to share two monochromatic photos of her character Dilreet Gill from ‘Kesari Chapter 2’. The new pictures show her looking sideways, sporting a long braid, golden hoop earrings, and wearing an ethnic outfit. In her caption, she wrote, “Creating Dilreet Gill for #KesariChapter2 .. have you watched our trailer yet?" Suhana Khan, who never fails to cheer for her friends, gushed over Ananya’s stunning look from the film. She wrote, “She’s the best," along with heart-eyed emojis. Meanwhile, Dharma Movies commented, “Can’t wait for the audience to see you bring this character to life!" Farah Khan and Bhavana Pandey dropped red heart emojis to show their love for Ananya. ‘Kesari Chapter 2’ depicts the untold story of the aftermath of the brutal Jallianwala Bagh massacre in Amritsar. Akshay Kumar plays Sir C Sankaran Nair, the fearless lawyer who fought an ‘unprecedented battle’ against the British empire in the 1920s after the Jallianwala Bagh massacre. He is pitted against R Madhavan, a lawyer defending the British. Ananya plays Dilreet Gill, a female lawyer who shatters stereotypes by standing up for Indians amid a sea of male lawyers. The trailer brings out the struggle of Indians who fought for injustic and were subject to shame and ridicule by the tyrant British empire.
Backed by Dharma Productions, Cape of Good Films, Leo Media Collective, this film is directed by Karan Singh Tyagi. It is scheduled to release in theatres on April 18, 2025.
