Laughter Chefs 2: Farah Khan TROLLED For Making Fun Of Gaurav Khanna’s Colour Blindness Amid Holi Remark Row
Farah Khan faced backlash yet again for mocking Gaurav Khanna's color blindness on Celebrity MasterChef.
Farah Khan has landed in legal trouble for calling Holi a festival of “chhapris". Amid the controversy, another incident has called forth trouble for the filmmaker. Farah, who is one of the judges on Celebrity MasterChef, was called out by X users for allegedly mocking actor Gaurav Khanna’s colour blindness.
It so happened that Farah was interacting with Gaurav, who is one of the celebrity contestants on the cookery show. When the actor presented a dish in front of judges Vikas Khanna, Ranveer Brar and Farah, they commented on the dish’s plating and colour balance. Soon, Gaurav told them that he is colour blind.

While Vikas was taken aback by Gaurav’s claims, Farah exclaimed, “What rubbish!" Responding to the situation, Farah questioned Gaurav about the colour of Vikas’ jacket. Pointing out the chef’s blue jacket (while he was actually wearing a red one), she asked for his opinion. Gaurav, unaware of the trick, innocently said that the jacket looked somewhere between red and orange. This particular segment from the show went viral, with netizens calling out Farah’s behaviour. The filmmaker is yet to issue a statement in the matter.
An X user condemned the Om Shanti Om director’s behaviour and wrote, “‘What rubbish!’ Miss Farah Khan, i dont expect any better from you. U were always a snooty motormouth. But try being a wee bit considerate about someone’s disability. Nonsense woman! (sic)."
Another posted, “It was incredibly ignorant on the judges’ part, especially Farah’s. I’m not saying he deserves sympathy for his weakness, he himself never sought it. However, that doesn’t give them the right to mock him or react the way they did. Shameful (sic)."
“This lady #farahkhan needs to learn some manners before being a judge in any reality show. How insensitive one can be! Rubbish? Really? RB is extremely biased & rude towards #GauravKhanna . Replace them (sic)," wrote yet another user.
On the other hand, Farah Khan is receiving hate for her comments on Holi. “Saare chhapri logon ka favourite festival Holi hota hai (Holi is every cringe person’s favourite festival)," she was heard saying on Celebrity MasterChef. Her comment drew online flak. As reported by IANS, a complaint was filed by social media sensation Vikash Fhatak, popularly known as Hindustani Bhau, for allegedly hurting Hindu sentiments.
