Nagarjuna’s son, Naga Chaitanya is all set to tie the knot a second time. The actor will marry Sobhita Dhulipala on Wednesday, December 4 in a traditional ceremony. Amid the buzz around Naga Chaitanya’s wedding, Nagarjuna’s rare photos with his first wife, Lakshmi Daggubati, have resurfaced and gone viral online. Lakshmi is also Naga Chaitanya’s mother.
A Reddit user shared Nagarjuna and Lakshmi’s photos on the microblogging site. The photos were shared with the caption, “Rare pics of Nagarjuna’s first wife Lakshmi. In one photo, Nagarjuna and Lakshmi could be seen holding hands and smiling as they gazed into each other’s eyes. The image is seemingly from their wedding. In another photo, Nagarjuna and Lakshmi could be seen posing at a party. Another photo featured Lakshmi with her son, Naga Chaitanya.
Lakshmi married Nagarjuna in 1984. The former couple parted ways in 1990. In 1992, Nagarjuna married Amala Akkineni. As for Lakshmi, she is the daughter of D Ramanaidu and Rajeshwari. Daggubati Ramanaidu was an Indian film producer known for his work in Telugu cinema. He founded Suresh Productions in 1964 which became one of the largest film production companies in India. Lakshmi has two siblings, Venkatesh and Suresh Babu. As such, she is Rana Daggubati‘s aunt.
Meanwhile, Naga Chaitanya and Sobhita Dhulipala will get married at the Annapurna Studios in Hyderabad. If recent reports are to be believed, Ram Charan will be gracing the occasion with his wife, Upasana Konidela. Mahesh Babu and Namrata Shirodkar are also set to add their star power to the much-anticipated wedding. Pushpa star Allu Arjun will also be attending Chay’s wedding with Sobhita.
