In a recent interview, Nani opened up about his role as Arjun Sarkar, an angry, fearless cop, revealing that the character was initially envisioned as a cameo in HIT 2 but was later expanded into a full-fledged lead for the third installment. Fans are eagerly waiting to witness Nani in this never-seen-before avatar.

In a conversation with Great Andhra, the actor said, “To be honest, the HIT 3 story wasn’t finished while we were working on HIT 2. Director Sailesh requested whether we could include a high point in the climax, either starring me or another actor in a cameo. As we were creating the HIT universe, it felt like an excellent opportunity to have another actor make an appearance."

The actor further added that, as a producer, he felt responsible for the production and decided to perform the cameo role of Arjun Sarkar himself. Despite not planning a third part because of his lineup, Nani was able to fit the film into his schedule when a seven-month gap opened up due to delays in another project. “Sailesh had been telling me that he had a narrative point, and I loved what I heard. So we started working on it," he explained.

Recently, the makers unveiled the film’s official trailer, which received massive responses from the audience. However, fans were quick to draw comparisons between HIT 3 and other recent violent films, including Ranbir Kapoor’s Animal and Unni Mukundan’s Marco.
