NCT’s Jaehyun has proven his generosity once again, making a significant donation even while serving in the military. The K-pop idol has contributed 100 million won to aid victims and support restoration efforts in wildfire-affected areas.

On March 28, the Hope Bridge Korea Disaster Relief Association announced that Jaehyun had donated the funds to help those impacted by recent wildfires in Ulsan, Gyeongbuk, and Gyeongnam. His contribution will be used for emergency relief, providing supplies, and operating temporary shelters for displaced residents.

Expressing his concern, Jaehyun shared, “I hope the wildfires are extinguished as soon as possible so that our neighbours affected can return to their peaceful daily lives. I also hope more people come together to support the brave firefighters and those struggling in these difficult times."

Jaehyun enlisted in the Republic of Korea Army on November 4, 2024, and is serving his mandatory military service as a member of the Army Band, with a scheduled discharge date of May 3, 2026.

As a result of his generous donation, Jaehyun has been inducted into the “Hope Bridge Honors Club," an exclusive group of high-value individual donors. He has also pledged to continue supporting disaster relief efforts and raising awareness about the importance of giving back.

Hope Bridge Secretary General Shin Hoon expressed gratitude, saying, “We sincerely appreciate Jaehyun’s warm generosity. We will do our best to ensure his donation provides real, practical help to those in need."

Currently, Hope Bridge is actively providing relief efforts in wildfire-affected areas, distributing over 420,000 essential supplies, including blankets, daily necessities, food, and water. The organisation is also supporting displaced residents with temporary shelters and offering meals for firefighters working tirelessly to control the blaze.
