Patrick Schwarzenegger, The White Lotus Team Send ‘Deepest Sympathies’ To Myanmar, Thailand Earthquake Victims
The third season of The White Lotus was filmed at the Four Seasons Resort, Koh Samui in Thailand.
In the wake of the deadly earthquake that struck Thailand and Myanmar, the team of Mike White’s anthology series ‘The White Lotus’ has shared their support for victims impacted by the disaster. The team of The White Lotus shared a statement on Instagram, and sent their prayers and ‘deepest sympathies’ to those affected by the tragedy. The third season of the series was primarily filmed at the Four Seasons Resort, Koh Samui in Thailand.
The official Instagram handle of The White Lotus shared a statement on Friday that read, “The White Lotus team and all of us at Max are holding the people of Myanmar and Thailand close to our hearts today." The team further added, “We send our deepest sympathies to those affected by this tragedy." Patrick Schwarzenegger, who was part of The White Lotus season 3, commented on the post and dropped folded hand emojis. He also re-posted the series’ tribute on his Instagram story, and wrote, “Praying for Thailand."

The death toll crossed the 1,000 mark, while more than 2,300 people were injured, after two massive earthquakes rocked Myanmar and its neighbouring Thailand on Friday afternoon. The 7.7 magnitude earthquake struck at midday, with an epicentre near Mandalay, Myanmar’s second-largest city.
The majority of the production of ‘The White Lotus’ season 3 took place in Koh Samui, Phuket, and Bangkok. Earlier, in an interview with Bangkok Post, Patrick Schwarzenegger was asked about his favourite location among these, and he replied, “They were all very different. My favourite was probably in Phuket as well. We got to spend a lot of time out on the, if you saw in the trailer on the yacht and we got to go to the Phi Phi Islands and film all around on the ocean. The hotels we stayed at were beautiful, but I too like to do excursions and kind of experience what I perceived as Thailand – that screensaver beautiful landscape of the ocean and the islands."
The White Lotus season 3 consists of eight episodes. It began on February 16, and new episodes drop every Sunday. The new season introduces a fresh group of guests who will enjoy exotic food, luxurious spa treatments and plenty of drama. As always, deep secrets will be revealed and at least one guest may not be able to survive till the end.
