Bollywood star Preity Zinta shared an emotional update about her safety amid the raging wildfires in Los Angeles.

As the wildfires rage across Los Angeles, Bollywood star Preity Zinta took to social media to update fans about her safety and express her heartbreak over the devastation. Preity, who resides in the U.S. with her husband, financial analyst Gene Goodenough, reassured her followers, saying she is “safe as of now" but deeply affected by the ongoing crisis.
Sharing her experience on X, Preity wrote, “I never thought I’d see a day when fires would ravage neighborhoods around us in LA. Friends and families are either evacuated or on high alert, ash is falling from smoggy skies like snow, and there’s fear and uncertainty with toddlers and grandparents by our side." She added, “I’m heartbroken at the devastation around us and grateful to God 🙏 that we are safe for now. My thoughts and prayers are with those displaced and those who’ve lost everything. A big thank you to the firefighters and everyone helping to save lives and property. Stay safe, everyone ❤️."

I quickly packed my stuff and I’m heading toward the airport. I hope my flight doesn’t get canceled because this is terrifying. I’ve never experienced anything like this."
Priyanka Chopra Jonas, who resides in LA with her husband Nick Jonas and daughter Malti Marie, also shared her thoughts. Posting photos and videos of the wildfire’s impact, she wrote, “My thoughts are with everyone. I hope we can all stay safe tonight."
