On Friday, director Lokesh Kanagaraj and the team behind Coolie announced the release date with a fierce new poster and a roaring declaration: “Sound-ah yethu! Deva Varraaru #Coolie worldwide from August 14th."
The announcement instantly sent social media into a frenzy—not just because of the date, but because it sets up a massive box office clash. Ayan Mukerji’s War 2, the sixth installment in the YRF spy universe, had already booked the same date for its release.
